New Erdington store pledges to support its local hospice
John Taylor Hospice is set to benefit from the launch of a new bathroom showroom in Erdington.
Bathroom and tile retailer Easy Bathrooms will be unveiling its newest showroom in Kingsbury Trading Park on 23 September. The opening isn’t just good news for shoppers – as the store has pledged to donate five per cent of every purchase during the next month to its local hospice.
Phil Rooney, manager at the new showroom, said: “We’re a national brand with local values, meaning that we support the areas where we have showrooms. So giving a percentage of our sales to John Taylor Hospice means that when someone buys one of our products they are also helping their local community.
“We chose John Taylor Hospice because we know that it’s a huge part of Erdington and many of our new staff also have personal connections to it. We’re looking forward to welcoming customers both new and old over the coming weeks and hopefully raising a significant sum for John Taylor Hospice!”
Natalie Mayo, Corporate Fundraising Manager at John Taylor Hospice, said: “We’ve been providing care and support at the heart of the local community for over 100 years. We’re incredibly grateful to Easy Bathrooms for their generosity. Our supporters help us to continue being there for patients and their loved ones when they need us and they really do make a massive difference.”
The new store – which is based only one mile from the hospice - will be unveiled at 9am on Saturday 23 September and will be open seven days a week.
