John Taylor Hospice Moments Awards
John Taylor Hospice is thanking supporters by launching the new Moments Awards.
Recognising supporters who have given time, effort and imagination to holding events, fundraising and volunteering, the awards will be presented at a ceremony at the hospice in December.
Staff, patients, families, volunteers and supporters are all being asked to nominate the people they believe deserve a Moments Award.
There are a range of categories including young fundraiser, ambassador, corporate supporter, innovative supporter and the Inspiration Award. All aim to thank people who have promoted the hospice, done something different or creative to raise money or who have inspired others to support John Taylor.
Head of Fundraising Katie Mitchell said: “We are grateful to everyone who supports us through fundraising and volunteering. While the NHS helps fund our care we need the help of all of our fundraisers to help us reach more people.
“We thank everyone individually when they give but we also want to hold a special event in which we highlight some of the great work our supporters are doing – which is why we have launched the Moments Awards.
“We’re really looking forward to receiving the nominations so please, everyone, make sure you nominate the supporters you think deserve that extra special thank you.”
