Fundraising for the Hospice

The role of a fundraiser is very challenging but extremely rewarding in many ways. I am fortunate enough to see the benefits of my work though the eyes of the patients here at the Hospice and see first hand the improved well being of the patients attending for daycare.

A typical day ranges from meeting and greeting patients, to answering emails, setting up events and applying to Trust Funds through the various avenues within the local community.

I am very proud of the fact that we have opened 4 shops in the Bedford area and we are about to launch into opening a 5th.

My background is mainly retail working for Beales and The House of Fraser which I thoroughly enjoyed and this has given me the grounding for this job. I work with a wonderful team supporting an amazing cause.

We are always really grateful for any fundraising support so if you fancy organising something we will always support you. Click below for some great fundraising ideas.
