Lucky player does the hat trick
Maureen Orrin from Colchester must be one of Your Hospice Lottery’s luckiest players as she has just celebrated her THIRD top prize win of £1,000!
When Maureen received the good news over the phone she “couldn’t believe it!” “It’s unbelievable”, she remarked.
After splashing out on a holiday with her previous £1,000 win back in 2015, Maureen has decided she would like to treat herself to a new lawnmower.
She explains: “I don’t currently have one and my brother in law comes over and does my gardening so it will save him having to bring his! I’d also like to treat myself to a few trips and possibly a holiday. I’m looking forward to going on a coach trip to the Isle of Man in October.”
Maureen has been playing the lottery since the very first draw back in June 2001and is a long term supporter of St Helena Hospice after being invited to visit Myland Hall with the Stanway Women’s Guild before it opened.
Maureen adds: “The lottery is such an easy way to give to the hospice and your money goes to a good cause helping so many people.”
