Brave Emily Smeby, (18) decided to kick off 2017 in a positive way by having her gorgeous long hair cut short, raising funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice who supported her Dad, Andy Hunt in 2016 and also donating her tresses to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs for children suffering hair loss.
Emily said “I want to help Cynthia Spencer Hospice, as their help throughout Dad’s last few months was wonderful, and they are entirely reliant on donations. Hopefully, Dad would be very supportive of my decision as he always was with everything I did. I want to start the year off with something positive after such a hard year for both Mum and myself.”
Hairdresser Michelle Brown from Locke’s Hair supported Emily by cutting her hair and by dyeing the hair all one colour, ready to send to the Little Princess Trust.

John Helm, Fundraising Manager at Cynthia Spencer Hospice said “What a wonderful way to support the Hospice and the Little Princess Trust and to kick off the New Year in such a positive way. Our thanks go out to Emily for sacrificing her locks in this way and to Michelle for her help too.”
