Neil (Jock) Dewar recently presented Salisbury Hospice Charity with a cheque for £1,000 donated by Rockwell Collins UK Ltd, C.A.R.E committee. Neil has worked for Rockwell Collins for the past four years since leaving a military career in 2012.
Since being diagnosed with an extremely rare form of cancer in February this year, Neil has been helped by several of the teams within Salisbury Hospice, both in the community and the hospice itself. Not only has Neil benefitted from the nursing care provided by the hospice, but also the emotional and practical support that is so vital when coming to terms with a terminal diagnosis.
Rockwell Collins UK is proud of the support it gives to its employees and also to the wider community through its C.A.R.E committee. When Neil said he would like to give something back to Salisbury Hospice for the care he is being given, the C.A.R.E committee at Rockwell Collins was happy to help.
It was a truly global representation of friends who work with Neil (pictured fourth from right) with colleagues from Germany, the USA and the UK all appearing in the photo alongside staff from the Charity and Salisbury Hospice.
