Noah’s Ark was at Wembley for Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Arsenal in the North London derby.
It was a record breaking attendance with some 83,222 people watching – the third time Spurs has broken the Premier League attendance record in the 2017/18 season!
Noah’s Ark volunteers held a collection around Wembley stadium accompanied by Tottenham Hotspur Club Ambassador Micky Hazard before the match, while at half-time Ru Watkins, Noah’s Ark Chief Executive, Luke Dart, Specialist Carer, and Tottenham Hotspur Club Ambassador Gary Mabbutt spoke to Paul Coyte about the fantastic work of the charity.
Thanks to the immense generosity of the Spurs fans who donated to our volunteers with buckets as well as via our text to donate number we raised a staggering £6,746!
This is an amazing amount that could pay for a whole weekend away for all the children and young adults involved in our Siblings Support Programme. This time out of their everyday environment is vital and helps parents concentrate on caring for their seriously ill child.
Noah’s Ark would like to send a huge thank you to Tottenham Hotspur FC for their continued support, to Club Ambassadors Micky Hazard and Gary Mabutt for their assistance on the day, to all our volunteers who came out on a wet and windy Saturday and to everyone who kindly donated.
