After listening to feedback from staff, volunteers, patients and the local community St Helena Hospice has agreed its priorities for the next five years.
St Helena Hospice knows that not everyone in their area gets the same access to their care and support. In order to tackle this and other challenges, four key priorities have been identified:
1. Reaching out based on need regardless of diagnosis or circumstances.
2. Empowering people to plan ahead, share their choices and achieve their wishes.
3. Providing excellent personalised care to more people in hospice beds and in the home.
4. Helping life go on in the face of dying, death and bereavement.
Members of the public are invited to hear an update on the hospice’s plans for the coming years from Mark Jarman-Howe, our Chief Executive, on one of the following dates:
Wednesday 26th July 10am at 1 The Atrium, Phoenix Square, Wyncolls Road, Colchester CO4 9AS
Thursday 27th July 3pm at The Education Centre, St Helena Hospice, Myland Hall, Barncroft Close, Colchester CO4 9JU.
Anyone interested in attending should call the Fundraising office on 01206 931468 to book their place.
