Join Team ARHC for this once in a lifetime trip, flying into Morocco in March 2018.
You will cross the Atlas Mountains by vehicle before taking on the 70km, 5 day trek across the world’s hottest desert. With your fellow Sahara adventurers and qualified Berber guides you will traverse gargantuan sand dunes and ancient dried up riverbeds, in temperatures which soar to 40 degrees in the daytime and drop to as low as zero at night.
It’s an opportunity to challenge yourself with something you may never have considered before, experience the traditional ‘Berber’ way of life and cuisine, sleep under a canopy of stars and collect many a tale to recount to family and friends upon your return, all whilst raising money for the Hospice.
If you’d like to find out more, please book your spot at the Sahara Challenge Information Evening on Thursday 24th November. This is planned to take place at 6pm in the Bistro at the new Arthur Rank Hospice at Shelford Bottom (RSVP by 17 November).
