Patients, families and supporters are being asked to nominate staff and volunteers for the John Taylor Hospice Above and Beyond Awards.
Launched on 5 May, the awards aim to recognise staff who have gone the extra mile to help people they care for.
The Patient/Supporter Award is one of six categories which will be announced at a ceremony on 4 July, with the other categories being nominated by fellow staff and volunteers.
John Taylor Hospice CEO Penny Venables said: “We know that many of our staff and volunteers are really committed to caring for patients and their families and supporting volunteers and fundraisers. And now is the opportunity for that care and support to be recognised.
“I would ask anyone who believes a staff member or volunteer made a difference to ensure they help us to recognise that commitment by making a nomination.”
The criteria for the Patient/Supporter Award is for ‘a staff member or volunteer who a patient or supporter believes has gone over and above in their care and support’.
Nominations can be made by post or email with the closing date of Monday 12 June at 4pm. For details on how to nominate click here.
