Cransley Hospice supporters have made a massive difference to the community by raising over £100,000. The total amount raised, which currently stands at £107,316 is all down to Cransley supporters who play the Your Hospice Lottery each week, with every penny going towards local hospice care.

Cransley Hospice teamed up with Your Hospice Lottery in May 2014, to bring its supporters the opportunity to support patients and their families who are living with life limiting illnesses in North Northamptonshire– as well as giving lottery members the exciting chance to win cash prizes.

Currently over 5,300 numbers are played in the lottery draw each week in support of Cransley Hospice, with over £27,300 in cash prizes handed out to 1420 lucky Cransley supporters so far! One of those lucky players scooped the rollover jackpot of £1,250, with 10 players winning the £1,000 prize.

Cransley Hospice provides hospice and palliative care services for North Northamptonshire serving a population of over 250,000. Although mainly funded by the NHS, the Trust aims to raise £850,000 each year through charitable donations to sustain the quality of care.

Your Hospice Lottery is an easy and fun way of supporting Cransley Hospice; it costs just £1 per week to play, with 136 guaranteed weekly prizes to be won from £10 to £1,000 plus the rollover jackpot which could go up to £10,000!

Wendy Reason, Director of Income Generation at Cransley Hospice said “We are exceedingly grateful to all of the players who support us by taking part in Your Hospice Lottery. Playing on a regular basis really does make a huge difference to the funds we raise and therefore, the level of service we are able to provide.”

Alex Howe, Head of Lottery at ‘Your Hospice Lottery’ commented “We are delighted to have helped Cransley Hospice raise over £100,000 over the past 2 and a half years. The Hospice’s wonderful supporters are providing a valuable and regular income by joining in the weekly fundraising lottery draw”
