Chris has motor neurone disease. He visits the Peter Gillam Day Centre at Salisbury Hospice once a week and enjoys the social support he receives while he is there.
The Peter Gillam Day Centre is a welcome retreat
both for inpatients and patients from the community as well as
providing a day of respite for carers. It is a place where patients can
relax and take part in a variety of fun activities as well as art, music
and dance therapies, aromatherapy and reflexology.
Here he tells us what this precious time means to him.
