Through the scorching summer months, the excitement has been building till the rollover was finally won by Weldmar supporter Paul Edmonds.
Lucky winner Paul Edmonds, lives in Weymouth, and plays Your Hospice Lottery to support Weldmar Hospicecare. When we spoke to Paul on the day to reveal the exciting news that he was the lottery jackpot winner, he exclaimed “Oh my god, I am absolutely staggered and immensely happy!! Thank you so much! I will have a think what to do with the money and spend it wisely”.
Celebrating the Win
After letting the news settle, he visited Weldmar Hospicecare to celebrate the fantastic news.
He told them “I think it’s really important to support Weldmar, it’s one of the most deserving charities, and the work they do is really very important. At £1 a ticket it’s well less than a pint of beer so it’s an easy way to support them!”
He is splitting the winnings with partner Elaine, planning a holiday, and very generously donating £2,000 back to Weldmar Hospicecare.
