Andy has always had a love of fashion and style… and a passion for footwear, trainers and shoes. Amazing to think that just over twelve months ago GetSoled was simply an idea between friends and now here they are celebrating their first-year anniversary; having quickly become a trusted online retailer for a wide range of premium footwear brands, operating on their three core principles:

At first thought, launching a brand-new business in the middle of a global pandemic might appear miscalculated, but on upon closer consideration, online shopping became much more popular, our politicians told us to exercise once a day every day, we even had Joe Wicks on our TVs and laptops getting up and active. So, in fact what a brilliant time to turn a dream into reality. One of the GetSoled directors spent a large part of their career working with brand giant Adidas, their welcome industry knowledge adds valuable strength and support to the team, bringing some key business contacts.
Among other things Andy is responsible and works hard to grow the GetSoled customer reach, which includes expanding the sales channels in addition to the website. Currently managing thirteen outlets aligned with all the popular social channels like Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest on promoting and supporting the GetSoled advertising strategy. Pinterest is the most recent focus, as building confidence with consumers is key, inviting and encouraging shoppers for positive Trustpilot reviews.
In addition to Andy’s sales responsibilities, he also covers purchasing, personally sourcing and selecting the stock, only ever investing in what he really likes.

Andy recognises it’s very early days since the GetSoled launch in January 2021 but is still completely focused on growing the dream, a good month would consist of fifty sales, seeing the majority of traffic to the website from London, but welcome customers from across the globe with orders from Europe and as far as Australia, USA, and Canada. The sky is the limit for GetSoled and with the support of Play & Save that’s exactly what they’re aiming for.
