KEMP’s Family Support & Bereavement Service offers counselling support for adults, children, and young people across the Wyre Forest. Even when the death of a loved one isn't linked to a life-limiting illness, it gives them an outlet to talk openly about their feelings and time and space to process their emotions.

Did you know

Each year, it costs KEMP almost £1.7m to provide their services, with just 15% of those costs covered by local government. This means they rely on community support to help raise around £1.5m to continue to be here for people when they need them.

From your very first game, you will help KEMP Hospice raise vital funds that will support people in need in the local community. Some examples of what your contribution could pay for are:

£10.00

could help to cover the cost of sending one of their specialist children's grief counsellors to a child's school for a counselling session, giving the support they need in an environment that removes the need for travel for the child.

£23.50

could help pay for an exercise therapy session for a KEMP Day Hospice patient, helping them to improve and maintain mobility and remain as independent as possible throughout their illness.

£30.00

could help to cover a finance and welfare advise session, helping patients, their families and carers navigate the practical and financial issues, taking away some of the worry and pressure.

£52.00

could help pay for a children’s bereavement support session, helping the child to talk through their grief when facing or living with the loss of a parent, grandparent or other loved one.
