KEMP has been providing valuable care and support to people across the Wyre Forest, affected by a life-limiting illness, for over 50 years. They provide end-of-life care, counselling, and emotional support to adults facing a life limiting illness, their families, and carers for as long as they need it.
KEMP’s specialist support and person-centred care is for everyone, no matter their life-limiting condition. Their team of caring professionals specialise in palliative nursing care, rehab/exercise and occupational therapy, wellbeing therapies and psychological support. From diagnosis to end of life, they help people live as well as possible at every stage of their journey.
KEMP counselling and emotional support for adults, children and young people, provides reassurance and a safe space for those affected by a life-limiting illness or bereavement. Our caring professionals are here for everyone across the Wyre Forest area, even when the death of a loved one isn’t linked to a life-limiting illness. Our bereavement counselling and support helps people cope with their grief by giving them an outlet to talk openly about their feelings and time and space to process their emotions.

Each year, it costs around £2.1 million for KEMP Hospice to provide their services to the local community. They never charge for their care, so rely on community support to help raise around £1.9 million to continue to be there for people when they need them.

could provide a patient with a healthy, nutritious meal whilst in Day Hospice. KEMP prides itself on ensuring that each patient receives a vital, warm nutritious meal from our own chef who tailors the meals to the needs of every patient.
could help to provide an Occupational Therapy session making day-to-day life easier for patients struggling with everyday activities. Through expert advice, customised adaptations, and specialised equipment, patients can pursue or maintain essential activities while ensuring their safety.
could pay for a full session of specialised bereavement support for children as young as 5, enabling them to express their feelings and understand complex emotions when living with a bereavement.
could help to fund creative activities for our patients for a day. Our creative activities provide patients with a constructive outlet to express their emotions, moments of relaxation, and an opportunity to make friendships with individuals navigating similar journeys.
How to play
Each entry to the draw costs £1. Our draws are run every week of the year, usually on a Friday. You can either set up a subscription to provide your chosen hospice with a regular and reliable income, every week of the year, or you can play as and when you want to, whatever suits you best!
